Drugs / Alcohol

Parents and caregivers must have accurate information about drugs, and be knowledgeable about current drug trends. Research shows that parents who discuss the consequences of using drugs, who monitor their children’s activities and who understand the concerns of today’s youth, will have children and teens who are less likely to use or begin to use drugs and alcohol.
